Connect Transport; community transport in Hampshire (formally Dial-a-Ride)
Connect Transport, formally known as Dial-a-Ride, is a bookable door-to-door accessible transport service which operates across the Borough, for people living in our Borough who find it difficult or impossible to use ordinary bus services. This service is jointly funded by us in partnership with Hampshire County Council.
Please Note: From 1st January 2023, Hampshire County Council no longer offer a 25% discount on fares with an older or disabled person’s bus pass.
For information about the Eastleigh Connect Transport services visit One Community Transport or telephone 023 8090 2450.
There are several other community transport services around the Borough which are also operated by One Community including the Hedge End Park Minibus Service and Eastleigh Shopmobility Scheme, which loans out powered or manual wheelchairs and scooters to enable people to access the town centre independently.
If you have difficulty with using public transport to get to a hospital, medical centre or GP surgery, we offer a local Medical Transport Taxi Service.
The services operates seven days a week and is available if you are either attending a medical appointment or visiting friends or relatives in hospital. This service will try to accommodate wheelchair users.
