There has been an incredibly positive and entrepreneurial outpour of support for everyone while they are correctly staying at home during this challenging time of coronavirus social distancing, self-isolation and shielding measures. From online recipes, fitness streaming and video chat apps to brand new national campaigns – there’s something there for everyone.
Our Health and Wellbeing team have drawn together key resources and activities (vetted by sport and health professionals) to help keep you and your family happy, occupied, healthy and active while at home. Hopefully it will help save you some surfing time…and they’re all free!

Mental wellbeing is coming under undue stress at this time, we've brought together resources for all age groups top keep your mind busy and leading campaign links for you to keep carrying on.

Physical wellbeing helps more than just your physical body with positive effects on stress levels, mood and sleep. We've brought together lots of tips and resources for you and your loved ones to have fun with.

Eating well benefits your mind and body and is a great way to keep busy. We've collected some tips and recipe resources to keep you and your family in tip top condition.

Be in Everyone's Corner.
You might have a friend or family member who has been shielding or self isolating for the majority of lockdown, or has additional anxieties due to existing or new mental health challenges. You might be experiencing anxieties yourself and have been uncomfortable about venturing out.

Public Health England and Sport England's Join the Movement campaign have created the Active at Home booklet to help older adults and those who are shielding to be active and healthy at home.
There is also a on-going blog to keep healthier at home.

NHS launched Better Health to kickstart your health. Whether it's to quit smoking, get active, lose weight or look after your mental wellbeing - they've got online tools to help.
Download apps to plan weight loss, eat healthier, quit smoking, complete couch to 5k and more. There's plenty of online class programmes and support...so let's do this!
