Your new role
We are looking for experienced administrators who are self-motivated and committed professionals to join us in our busy Case Management Team. We provide high standards of performance and customer service to our customers through the administration of cases and accounts in many business areas including Housing, Environmental Health, Planning and Transport and Engineering. We have over 55,000+ properties in the Borough and are growing with new businesses and development. You will process cases, applications and requests within these areas and liaise closely with customers to ensure an efficient, timely and helpful service.
Day to day the team use various IT systems including Salesforce. With our reliable IT, we can work efficiently either remotely from home or in our modern Eastleigh office. We maintain contact with each other through Microsoft Teams, weekly team meetings, one to ones and in team training.
You will have a strong background in an Administrative role and have proven Customer Service experience. Previous Housing experience, and in particular, Homelessness and Hampshire Homechoice, is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. You will be willing to constantly learn new skills and improve new systems and processes. A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential as well as having a logical and methodical approach to your work, you will also have great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your busy workload. Accuracy and attention to detail will be key in this important role along with the ability to sense check your work. You will also have excellent communication skills and have an inclusive and helpful approach, to handle various data and queries, whilst remaining calm and professional. This is a busy working environment, so you will need to be resilient, adaptable and enjoy being part of a great team.
We are a team of around 50, busy and friendly Case Management Officers who work closely with our Specialist colleagues, we work together and individually to deliver high quality service in all our business areas. We sit within a wider Service Delivery Team that includes other business areas including our Customer Service and Localities teams.
