An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Hub Manager to join the Economy Team as part of a funded project to support employment opportunities within the borough as part of a partnership, particularly focusing on youth employment.
This role will be responsible for leading the partnership within Eastleigh and collaborating with other partnership stakeholders, including DWP and other local authorities. The Employment Hub Manager will be required to develop outreach events to reach participants and ensure a joined up approach to partnership working. Key responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on project successes, keeping up to date with employment and training initiatives and managing the team of Employment Support officers.
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of working within the employment and skills field. You will have demonstrable experience of working successfully on projects and managing small teams. An ability to present information clearly and past experience working with members of the public is essential. You will be a clear communicator and able to understand the needs of different stakeholders.
