Ethnic Minority Communities

Our aim is to provide a community development service to support local people from the Ethnic Minority Communities in order to:

• Identify and express their needs 
• Provide advice and support to existing groups 
• Provide access to information on public service provision
• Research the needs for new community groups
• Promote networks and promote decision making
• Increase the involvement of these communities in the life of the Borough  

This is done in various ways through:

• Ethnic Minority Groups
• Race Equality Forum
