May 2020 elections postponed for 12 months

The Local Government and Police and Crime Commissioner (Coronavirus) (Postponement of Elections and Referendums) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 came into force on 7 April 2020. Under these Regulations all polls (including Borough Council, Parish Council and Neighbourhood Planning Referendums) are postponed to the 6 May 2021. This note will be updated should Government legislate to bring the date forward.

There are two parliamentary constituencies covering the Borough of Eastleigh:

Eastleigh Constituency covering Bishopstoke East, Bishopstoke West, Botley, Bursledon & Old Netley, Eastleigh Central, Eastleigh North, Eastleigh South, Fair Oak & Horton Heath, Hamble-le-Rice & Butlocks Heath, Hedge End Grange Park, Hedge End St Johns, Hedge End Wildern, Netley Abbey.

Winchester Constituency covering Chandler’s Ford East, Chandler’s Ford West, Hiltingbury East and Hiltingbury West.
