Recent improvements:
Accessing your Council Tax and Housing Benefit information
Eastleigh Borough Council has developed the Council Tax and Housing Benefit areas of MyEastleigh to enhance and increase services. On your MyEastleigh dashboard/homepage a "Council Tax and Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support" box will appear when you login.
- For those who do not already have online access to their Council Tax information
You are now able to link your Council Tax accounts to your MyEastleigh login. Please click on the blue Add and View your account(s) button. This will then allow you to access the new improved features.
- For those who do currently have online access to their Council Tax information
As a result of the recent developments you will need to re-register your Council Tax accounts by clicking on the blue Add and View your account(s) button. This will then allow you to access even more features than before.
After selecting the blue Add and View your account(s) button you will be taken to a new screen where you can simply add your Council Tax accounts.
You can also add Housing Benefits, Business Rates or Landlord accounts to your MyEastleigh login - select "Add Service".
Then select the "Add" button for the accounts you wish to add and select "Confirm" at the bottom right of the page.
In order to take advantage of accessing your accounts online, please have the following information to hand:
Council Tax information (view and manage your council tax details online):
- National Insurance number
- Council Tax Reference number (found on your council tax bill - 9 digit number, starting with a "9")
- amount of your last Council Tax payment
- If you have a Direct Debit set up - your bank account number the Direct Debit is linked to
- day of the month your council tax is due (this would normally be the 6th, 7th or 21st of each month)
Housing Benefit (view your Housing Benefit/Council tax support details online):
- National Insurance number
- housing Benefit claim number
Through MyEastleigh you will also be able to access business-related accounts.
If you have a business premises or are a landlord of a residence in the Borough, then please have the following information to hand to add these accounts to your MyEastleigh login:
Business Rates (view and manage your account online):
- amount of your last business rates payment
- if you have a Direct Debit set up - your bank account number the Direct Debit is linked to
- day of the month your Business Rate instalment is due (this would normally be the 6th, 7th or 21st of each month)
Landlord (view details of your tenant's claims online):
- amount of your last Housing Benefit payment
- two Housing Benefit reference numbers from two current tenants
- the date of the last payment made to you
