Litter and public litter bins
Keeping our streets clean and tidy
Litter picking is carried out continuously throughout the Borough, and our teams visit busy areas such as routes to school, town and shopping areas to ensure that litter is removed.
We have provided in excess of 800 litter bins throughout the Borough. Our target is to empty all bins before they are full or overflowing. If we receive a report regarding a full or overflowing bin, we will empty it within two working days.
