Fantastic festive display for Ink Planet’s Penguin

One local business-owner is so passionate about Eastleigh BID’s March of the Penguins town centre trail that she has created an entire window display to show off her penguin.
The Christmas competition trail, which has been funded by Eastleigh Borough Council’s Welcome Back Fund, includes 20 penguins in various locations including The Swan Centre, Eastleigh Museum and The Point.
Alison from Ink Planet at Leigh Road said: “When the BID asked me if I’d like to get involved I said yes straight away – I love my penguin!
“But when the penguin took its place in the window I thought everything else looked a little dull in comparison so I added a full Nutcracker theme. It continues inside the shop too and the children seem to appreciate it. It’s wonderful to see families stopping by to have a look.”
The trail continues until 3 January. Full entry information: https://www.visiteastleigh.co.uk/events/march-of-the-penguins-20th-november-until-3rd-january
