Local children learn about One Horton Heath
Year R at Mansbridge Primary School enjoy an exciting trip
Children from Mansbridge Primary School found out how a major construction site works when they visited the Council’s exciting One Horton Heath development.
Luddon Construction hosted the Year R children who found out about site safety, explored some of the earth moving equipment and had a video and a presentation to give them an idea of scale of the OHH project. Luddon also donated some high vis tabards and road safety play equipment.
Head Teacher, Mrs Brosnan, wrote to thank Luddon. She said: “They thoroughly enjoyed their time with you and are writing about their trip today. This is the wonderful thing about trips, they always inspire children to write. Thank you for taking the time to organise this for the children and for the lovely equipment you have donated to us”.
One Horton Heath is set within the semi-rural parish of Fair Oak and Horton Heath. Once complete, One Horton Heath will provide 2,500 homes, a vibrant local centre, primary school and sports field, better infrastructure, three new commercial hubs and a host of connected spaces and informal areas for wildlife to thrive.
