Make the switch to solar together
Group solar buying scheme returns
With energy bills soaring and the climate crisis escalating, more and more people are considering investing in rooftop solar panels to generate their own clean energy to power their home.
We are working with Hampshire County Council and group-buying experts, iChoosr, to help residents make the switch to clean energy as easy and cost effective as possible. The Solar Together scheme allows residents to get a better deal on solar panels and batteries by combining their purchasing power.
Residents can register for the scheme for free, and without obligation, before 27 September. The more people that register, the better the deal should be for each household.
A supplier ‘auction’ will be held on 27 September, when approved suppliers will bid for the work. Registered residents will then be emailed a personal recommendation, including costs and specification of the solar panel installation.
They then decide whether they would like to accept your recommendation - there is no obligation to continue. Those that accept, will be contacted by the winning installer to survey the roof and set an installation date.
