Volunteering opportunity: Energy Champion
Are you looking for new ways to get involved in your local community?
Are you looking for new ways to get involved in your local community? Do you love talking to people and have a bit of time to spare?
The My Home Made Better team would love to hear from you!
My home made better is a brand new, home energy advice service supported by Eastleigh Borough Council that offers free and impartial advice to homeowners making big decisions.
With many people feeling confused about how to make their home feel warmer in winter, or how to future-proof their home with energy efficiency technologies, this opportunity is ideal for someone who can empathise and help people take steps to find out more.
Volunteers will be given full training and do not require previous knowledge or experience. Hours and activity are flexible to suit any level of availability.
Alongside a dedicated project website launching in spring, My home made better will inspire residents with one-to-one advice, case studies, videos, online resources, open homes, events and webinars, all designed to help individuals make more informed decisions about their properties.
