Hampshire Sports Club Conference
We invite sports clubs and organisations countywide!
The Hampshire Sports Club Conference is delivered biyearly and will be back next Autumn (2025). The Council invests in local clubs by holding a Sports Club Conference in the Borough; inviting clubs and sports providers countywide to attend, learn best practice and network with likeminded people.
Here’s what was presented at the last conference in November 2023.
Workshops
Two one-hour workshops, on rotation (all delegates will attend both sessions), will focus on helping local sports clubs in Hampshire to become more sustainable and inclusive during challenging times:
Supporting Club Success - a Solent student support showcase
This workshop, brought to you by the team at Solent Uni, will guide clubs over three key areas of club management: Performance, Management and Development. Bring back ideas to work with external organisations to enhance your membership experience from coaching to marketing and community.
Club funding - raising money to sustain your organisation
This workshop, brought to you by Club Matters, a Sport England Lottery funded programme, that provides support to people just like you and your clubs. They will help you leave the evening with strategies to raise money from different sources, the tactics to follow and the best places to look.
