Gardening scheme

We provide a gardening support service for older and/or disabled residents in our Borough

Our gardening service will help to maintain your garden, assist with lawn cutting, edging, pruning and low hedge trimming. Please note that we are not able to undertake tree cutting.

Our gardening service operates fortnightly from March to October, costing £310.00 (VAT included). It covers 16 hours of gardening in total.

Each visit lasts 1 hour with one team member or if two gardeners attend, their combined time is 30 minutes. We also remove any garden waste produced during the visit.

This service is provided for people who are 65 years and over and/or have a disability. Residents with a disability should have a qualifying disability benefit award letter for example from DLA or PIP.

We invoice for the whole period and offer a choice of payment options. This means we therefore cannot undertake one off gardening visits.
