Traineeship Plus

This programme continues to support some of the most vulnerable young people in the community, providing them with the very best experience to help them prepare for the world of work. It is designed to help develop young people who lack the employability skills and experience that employers are looking for and will give them the opportunity of working through a high quality work placement, so the move into employment isn’t as daunting. They will receive support to improve their English and maths and will work towards an employability qualification at Level 1 or 2, developing their confidence and improving their chances of getting an apprenticeship or other job. Applicants will require a minimum grade 3 GCSE English or maths (non GCSE qualifications considered on an individual basis)
