Dog fouling

To address the problem of dog fouling, public spaces protection orders are made under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. This requires any person in a place to which the public has access to clean up after any dog in their charge.

Offenders may be given a fixed penalty notice, or in certain circumstances may be prosecuted.  Non-payment of a fixed penalty notice may result in prosecution. 

Securely bagged dog waste should be placed in a dog waste bin, a dual purpose bin, a litter bin or your black domestic waste bin.

We are also responsible for emptying dog waste bins and dual waste bins and the installation of new dual purpose bins. If there is somewhere you think a dual purpose bin should go then please contact us.
