Learn about civic landmarks in Eastleigh Town Centre

The Eastleigh Heritage Trail was launched in Eastleigh town centre to mark 40 years since the current Borough of Eastleigh was formed.

The heritage trail includes a number of civic landmarks such as the old Town Hall and The Point, the Dancing Garden, Eastleigh Bandstand, Eastleigh War Memorial and The Railwayman statue. There is also a cabinet of civic regalia in Eastleigh House that includes the Ceremonial Mace that was presented to the Borough in 1936 when it received its Borough Charter from Edward VIII.

A trail leaflet has been produced and is available from Eastleigh Museum, Eastleigh Library, Eastleigh House and The Point.
