Served by its own train station that was opened in 2003, Chandler's Ford also has a significant number of businesses on the School Lane industrial estate together with some key company headquarters including Utilita, Ageas and Draper Tools.

Hiltingbury Lakes is a seven hectare site of woodlands, lakes and wildlife habitat that is situated off Hiltingbury Road.

Hocombe Mead is an 8.33 hectare area of historic mixed woodland and ancient meadows, with small areas of valley bog and remnants of heathland between Ashdown Road and Hocombe Road

Your Local Area Committee works hard to make sure that there is a good infrastructure for work, leisure, education and shopping in the area.  Local residents have responded with hard work to make the best use of that infrastructure and as a result we have a vibrant and prosperous community that local people can take a genuine pride in.
