Eastleigh Borough is lucky to have four wonderful country parks within its boundaries.

Lakeside Country Park is within walking distance of Eastleigh Town Centre and is the perfect space to escape the hustle of urban living. With 22 hectares of lakes, wet meadow and woodland, Lakeside is a calm spot to walk your dog, stop for picnic or just relax by the lakes and watch the world go by. It also features a mini steam railway for families.
In Hedge End, River Hamble Country Park is a great place to walk, run or cycle in the woods with views over the River Hamble. It also features outdoor play equipment and is home to Manor Farm, with a café and farm animals.
Royal Victoria Country Park in the South of the Borough lies along Southampton water, with great views over the water. The Royal Victoria Chapel stands as a reminder of military hospital which was once based within its grounds. Today, large open fields, a café and miniature railway make the park a great place for a family day out.
Other green spaces around the Borough include Stoke Park Woods, the old golf course at Fleming Park, Hiltingbury Lakes in Chandler’s Ford and Knowle Park in Fair Oak.
