Arts and culture

A wealth of culture on your doorstep

We offer the community and its visitors access to high quality professional arts, award-winning cultural facilities, and an unparalleled outreach and creative learning. There is a wealth of arts and culture on offer and a wide range of venues, festivals and events to sample and enjoy.

Venues of particular interest include The Point, Eastleigh's internationally-recognised centre for contemporary dance, aerial, theatre, and combined arts, and The Berry Theatre in Hedge End which presents inspirational work for children and families and a varied programme of comedy, theatre and cinema screenings.

Creative Industries are well supported in Eastleigh, too, with specialist facilities and workspaces across a wide-range of disciplines, practices and art forms provided at The Creation Space, The Sorting Office.

The Borough is also home to the acclaimed jazz venue at The Concorde Club in Eastleigh, the regional centre for music at Thornden Hall in Chandler's Ford, Greyladyes Arts Foundation in Bursledon and Sea Sky Art in Hamble.
