Dog friendly
We are paw friendly at Lakeside Country Park. We welcome caring dog owners to our country parks. If your dog is sensible off the lead, you can let them run on our designated paw trail.
To protect wildlife and ensure that everyone enjoys their visit "Dogs on Leads" by-laws do apply to the mown area around the Pavilion building, the picnic areas and around the lakes. We ask all dog owners to follow a couple of simple rules:
- Please pick up after your dog, there are dog bins around the site for your use.
- Please keep your dog under close control as our Park has sensitive wildlife and not all visitors are happy around dogs - especially muddy ones!
We are aligned with Bird Aware Solent's Canine Code
Accessibility
We have a disabled toilet for pre-booked activities and parking spaces for disabled badge holders close to the pavilion and lakes.
