Copy plans and compliance checks

Copies of planning documents from either current or decided planning applications, for example decision notices and plans, are available on the planning register for applications dated from 2007.

Applications prior to this date and other planning related documents, such as Section 106 Agreements, can be requested for a fee:

We also provide a paid for service to conduct compliance checks for Section 106 Agreements and planning conditions.

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Council are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner. All Ordnance Survey maps are reproduced from Ordnance Survey mapping data with the permission of the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office (c) Crown Copyright. Unauthorised reproduction infringes Crown Copyright and may lead to prosecution or civil proceedings.

If you require the drawings for other purposes, not allowed by the Act, we will not be able to provide them but may be able to tell you the name of the copyright owner.

Please note that whilst images provided are scans of scaled originals, the images will not appear at any particular scale on your computer screen. Figured dimensions, where they appear, are a reliable method of obtaining measurements from these images and enlarging/reducing the image so as to conform with a stated dimension or scale bar may give approximate scaling capability.
