Local Plan review
The Council's first stage of public consultation on the Local Plan Review has begun. The Issues and Options consultation is now live and will run between Wednesday 4 December 2024 – 29 January 2025.
Eastleigh Borough Council is reviewing the Eastleigh Local Plan 2016-2036 (adopted April 2022). The Local Plan Review will set out the policies and plans to guide future development in the Borough. It will be used to determine planning applications and will review and update the policies as required in the recently adopted Local Plan.
We are currently at the first stage of public consultation on the Local Plan Review. The Issues and Options consultation takes place between Wednesday 4 December 2024 – 29 January 2025. The consultation documents and supporting evidence are available on the following webpages:

We are holding nine drop-in sessions where you can look at the proposals in the Local Plan Review and speak to members of the planning team. There are venues across the borough and sessions in December 2024 and January 2025:
