Issues and Options consultation
The Local Plan is the long term planning strategy for the borough. The “Issues and Options” consultation is the first stage of full public consultation on the Local Plan Review. It includes an initial assessment of the key issues and options for the scale and location of development and for policy approaches, to inform the debate.
The Issues and Options consultation was held from 4 December 2024 to 29 January 2025. We asked for your views about the key issues to address and the options for development, based on proposals from developers and landowners. We produced a full consultation document that includes questions for you to respond to and a summary document.
